What's New on the 2020 Ford F-150?

The Ford F-150 is a legend – an icon that withstood the pressures and tests of time. Those who aren't in the now, the new 2020 version was just recently released. If you are thinking about trying out the 2020 Ford F-150 in Woodbury, Elwood, or Melville, we have some good news for you.

Colors and Appearance
The exterior color options of the 2020 lineup will be similar to the 2019 variant, with one addition. Appearance packages allow you to customize your 2020 Ford F-150 and include the STX Appearance Package, XL Appearance Package, XLT Special Edition Package, and XL Sport Appearance Package, among others.

We hope you like choosing, because, with the 2020 version, there are several configurations to pick from – XL, LXT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, Limited, and Raptor. There has been speculation about a new Ford F-150 Electric Hybrid. While Ford has confirmed this, it is not yet available in the 2020 lineup, and we hope to see it in the 2021 iteration.

The superb engines that accompanied the Ford F-150 thus far will continue to be a part of the 2020 lineup. The engine options will include 3.5L EcoBoost, 3.0L Power Stroke Turbo Diesel, High-Output 3.5L EcoBoost, 2.7L Turbocharged EcoBoost, 5.0L Ti-VCT V8, and 3.3L Ti-VCTV6. 

When it comes to performance, you won’t really see changes in the exteriors; however, the Super Duty will boast a 10-speed automatic – a boost from the previous 6-speed. 

Interior Design
The 2020 Ford F-150 will feature plush and luxurious leather seating. There promises to be more headroom and leg room. You can pick from three body styles – Regular, SuperCrew, and SuperCab. The Regular seats three adults while the SuperCab and SuperCrew will have a seating capacity of six.

You will never be alone with the 2020 Ford F-150 innovations that include 4G LTE WiFi and connections for up to 10 devices. You can look forward to a new USB port and infotainment capabilities with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.
